This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Laurence Edinboro, 89 years old, born on March 27, 1926, and passed away on May 11, 2015. We will remember him forever.
On this 90th anniversary of Butch's birth his absence continues to be difficult to deal with. I often think of him and the manner in which he made others around him comfortable with his often quite gracious personality
Mr. Godfrey Edinboro was known to me since 1943 when I was stationed at the River Station in Georgetown and he was stationed at the Fire Station next door. I extend my sincere condolences to the family, and his soul Rest In Peace. Neville Braithwaite.
I have to say goodbye for now, you have gone to meet your drinking buddy my older brother. You will no longer threaten to whip me and send me home. I will miss you but farewell until we meet again.
Bro. Edinboro was known as the Chaplain "Man of the Cloth" who could be seen every month at the monthly meeting in the same spot sitting at the back bench. He would open the meeting in prayer with his distinguished voice which we will all miss. Bro. Edinboro will always be remembered for his great values and commitment to the Association for so many years. You have completed the tasks and you served your purpose . May the external light forever shine on you. R.I.P.
I will always remember you Butch for your candor and dry humor as you rode home with me after each meeting. You often reminded me of the good old days in Wortmanville (Packu Dam). Your insight was and still is quite an inspiration for me. I will truly miss you. Bro. A.. Britton.
Farewell my Brother, my friend. I will alway remember your candor and sense of humor, your words of advice and encouragement . You will be surely missed. Rest in peace. Bro. L. Gibbons
