Well as all of you probably know, my name is Brittany Applegate and I am the daughter of the most amazing mother in the world who has passed on almost 3 years ago...I made this page to honor the memory of her. I would love if people would post stories and share their memories of her as well. I was only 18 when she passed, so as much as i knew her, I am sure there are some things people could tell me or remind me.. or just share if you were close with her! I would really appreciate it, as i'm sure she would as well.

My mother was born in Oklahoma and moved to Pennsylvania when she was around 7 years old. She has 1 sister, Susan Moore and a brother, Gary Moore, whom she has never met due to his passing a while back. Her Father Gerald Moore and his side of the family still live in Oklahoma to this day, and her mother Barabara Stein lives in Pennsylvania with her family and Myself, my brother, Jared Applegate, and our father,my mother's husband, Jerry Applegate. She lost a daughter, my handicapped sister, Andrea Applegate almost 10 years ago to natural causes of her disorder. My mother was the most strong and courageous peson. She always took care of her family, especially when it wasn't so easy with a daughter with trisomy 13. Her memory lives on through her children, Jared and I, and now my daughter, who would have been her grand- daughter. Her name is Gianna- Lynne and she reminds me everyday of how much my mother loved me and my brother because I feel it with the love that I now have for my daughter. There is nothing like a mother's love for her child, and I still feel her love with me even though she's gone. I, myself obviously have many memories of her that I will post but I would also love to hear what other people might have to say! =]
