ForeverMissed

This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Laurie Eliasen, 64, born on August 30, 1949 and passed away on September 3, 2013. We will remember her forever.

Mom had the largest heart of any person we could have ever known. You needed a helping hand, you called Laurie. You needed a strong shoulder, you called Laurie. She was a Mother to many, blood and blessed, wife to her sweetheart, George for over 43yrs and a friend to many, many more.

Please leave a note, sharing just how much she touched your life, in every special way she could. Whether it was playing her silly Facebook games chatting with anyone from around the world to helping you create your life memories.   Share your stories.

Our candy lady and mama to all of us nw/dl family. We sat close to her in the elite section of the call center and everytime i walked by her desk..she always had goodies in a little basket and a huge smile on her face. It didnt matter what kind of mood i was in..she always made my day when i looked her way and she looks back at me and gives me a huge smile as if to tell me everything will be ok.

From the moment I met this beautiful, kind hearted, sweet lady, she brought nothing but joy, laughter and common sense to my life. She will never be forgotten, but will be greatly missed especially from our NWA/DL FAMILY. Hopefully she still laughs up in Heaven about all my weather post on Facebook. Laurie, I will smile every time I see the sun shine, because I know it's YOU! Love ya!

An Amazing woman. One who I only knew for about 7 years. But WOW what a lesson in life. She has touched so many lives, opened her home to many to include my grandchildren, my wonderful daughter in law. And always stood strong and kept most positive !! She has been a great inspiration to me over the years. Her Love for mankind and definitely her love for GOD.. I will truly miss her.<3

I babysat for Laurie and Gerry when we lived in Great Lakes, IL. She helped me plan my wedding 39 years ago. She always commented on my posts and we shared lots of memories. She will be missed so much! I am truly saddened by her passing, but I know we all have a special guardian angel watching over us!

This is the most amazing woman in the world. She had the largest heart and no one ever left without knowing how special they were to her. She opened her heart to every person, child, and animal (except birds, LOL) I will forever be without the only person I knew I could call no matter what was bothering me. I love you Momma. Even when we didn't see eye to eye, you knew I loved you.

Laurie you were our mama at work and the person we all seemed to be able to talk to about anything. The one who always had chocolate for us when we had crappy calls even though it wasn't a favorite of yours. Your one of the most amazing people I know. Your strength and love know no end. I wish everyone had a chance to know you. Love you forever Mama Lo!

There are so many things I am going to miss about you Laurie. I just can't believe your gone. You pop up in my head all the time. Just yesterday I posted a pic of Bren's first day of school and immediatly thought of you and all your sweet comments when I posted pics and how much I am going to miss that. You were the most thoughtful caring person and I am so lucky to have been your friend.

Words cannot describe the love and caring that Laurie shared with every life she touched. She was well liked by all and I don't think there is a single person who ever had a bad thing to say about her. She was honest, direct and protective of all she cares about. I feel greatly honored that she came into my life and shared so much wisdom with me, although the time was way to brief. 3

♥~OUR LAURIE~♥

While we are still here
to prove our worth,
she's earned her wings
to leave this earth.

Beautiful tributes
I now read of her;
her love, her kindness,
unconditional-so pure.

She proved it well,
how it to be done;
God's plan for us,
the march to His drum.

Recipes, LOLs & Seahawk shouts,
positive likes and
Godly routes;
her Christian words
and loving support-
now leave our FB pages short.

But we're all blessed
for what God graced us in her,
endurance, faith & hope, for sure.

What a giving life,
her memory-her story-
our friend, our true example,
our encourager,

My friend sent this to me and I think this is something that Laurie Eliasen would say/send us...

In Loving Memory

To my friends and family, some things I’d like to say. But, first of all to let you know that I arrived okay. I am writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above. Here, there are no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I am out of sight. Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you when my life on Earth was through. God picked me up and hugged me and he said, “I welcome you.”

It’s good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone. As for your friends and family, they’ll be here later on. I need you badly, you’re part of my plan. There’s so much we have to do, to help our mortal man. God gave me a list of things that he wished for me to do and foremost on the list was to watch and care for you. And when you lie in bed at night, the day’s chores put to flight; God and I are closest to you in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on Earth, and all those loving years, because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain. Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned. If I were to tell you, you wouldn’t understand. But one thing is certain, though my life on Earth is over. I am closer to you now than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb, but together we can do it by taking one day at a time. It was my philosophy and I’d like for you; that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you. If you can help somebody who’s in sorrow and pain; then you can say to God at night…”My day was not in vain.

And now I am contented…that my life was worthwhile. Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile. So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low; just lend a helping hand to pick him up as on your way you go. When you are walking down the street and you’ve got me on your mind; I’m walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. And when it’s time for you to go…from that body to be free…remember you are not going…your coming here to me.

AIOT/FIOH
