LAWRENCE HENRY SKIBA

82 years of age, March 26th 1940 - January 8th 2023

Passed at VA Hospice, Lakeside Manor, Dayton OH.

Larry was a 1957 graduate of Parma Senior High School. He joined the USAF at age 17 and was honorably discharged in 1961. He was stationed in Upper Hayford, England where he met his first wife (Pamela, divorced).

Going through many professions, including regional manager for Avon, owning his own furniture store, and ending with OTR trucking for Schneider, during which time he met his second wife(Judi).

He is survived by son Wayne (Fiona) Skiba, daughter Kim (Manuel) Vasconcelos, son Darrell(Jeannie) Skiba, and step-daughter Jennifer Colby. He also survives ten grandchildren, two siblings, Debbie Iammarino and Jeff Skiba, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by both parents(Henry and Eleanor) and both wives(Pamela and Judi).

Cremation services will take place at W.E. Lusain Funeral Home and Crematory, Dayton OH.

There will be no burial or memorial services at this time. A private family memorial dinner will take place in the near future.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local Humane Society in his honor.
