I was so saddened to hear of the passing of my good friend, LeaAnn.
I cannot even begin to tell you how much fun we had in our younger days. We met when we worked together at Akron General Medical Center. We were trayline girls in the kitchen. That is where our friendship began. Funnest job I have ever had.
LeaAnn and I spent a lot of time together. Yes, at work and also having fun outside of work. When I was first married to Bernie, LeaAnn spent a lot of time at our home. Our home was frequented by friends, and boy did we have some crazy parties (as you can see by the photos). It was not unusual for LeaAnn to stay at our home into the wee hours of the morning. I would go to bed as I had to get up early for work and she and Bernie remained in the living room, laughing up a storm. LeaAnn was the life of the party. We were always having such a good time.
I remember the time that LeaAnn dressed up for our Halloween party of over 50 people. She flew in from Texas and dressed so that no one knew who was underneath the costume. She was literally annoying people by her behaviors until she revealed herself. Everyone was so surprised and excited to see her.
I was in LeaAnn’s wedding. Standing on her right side in the photo.
We visited LeaAnn on occasion in Texas as my son lived in Dallas for several years.
A smile is always on my face when I think of the great times we had with LeaAnn. I hadn’t seen her for a few years and did not realize she was ill.
My husband, Bernie, passed away unexpectedly in 2012.
I know they are together in Heaven and having a good old time. I can hear them laughing.
LeaAnn will be missed. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
