Leanne
I remember before you were born visiting your mother and father on the farm oh how I loved them. You were a true blessing and I called you my little sister. I would visit in the summertime and swing you when you were little. You were truly loved by us all.
The new baby!
I was 7 years old when Leanne was adopted and brought home to Oregon. I remeber going over to Uncle Wayne and Aunt Shirley's mobile home on Brewster Rd. and being so intriqued by the new nursery and baby Leanne. She was my youngest cousin and so the only baby I was really around at that age. I have a lot of fond memories of visiting them on the farm and playing with Leanne. She will be missed!
Griggs schoolbooks
Though Leanne and I were 13 years apart in age, we both attended Griggs grade school which sat directy between my parents and Shirley and Wayne's homes - we lived a mile from each other. The school closed down and the community was allowed to come in and help themselves to the library books. I found numerous books I had read with my name still written on the library cards inserted in each book. Leanne, an avid reader, did the same. I remember one afternoon looking at the box of books she had collected.
