Lovey Lee Hicks, as named by my grandparents, Lila & Boyce Hicks, Sr., was the last of my father's, Charles Bernard Hicks, Sr. 's living siblings. Affectionately known to us, his nieces & nephews, as Uncle Lovey, was preceded in death by his brothers, Boyce Hicks, Tommy Hicks, Bruby Hicks, Clayton Hicks, Ellis Hicks, Charles Hicks and sisters Elise (Hicks) Perry and Maxine (Hicks) Jennings. The proud Hicks name and legacy of extraordinary, honorable character lives on.
