Lee James "Rudy" Rudolph, was born to Caroline Sims and Frank Rudolph on February 9, 1948 in Eclectic, Alabama. At an early age he dedicated his life to Christ and joined Beulah Baptist Church.

After graduating from high school, he joined the United States Marine Corps. Upon completion of his Tour of Duty; he traveled to Washington D.C. where he joined the District of Columbia (D.C.) National Guards.

In the summer of 1969 Rudy met the "Love of his life", Deborah. In
June of 1973, Lee James and Deborah Speer were joined in marriage.

The marriage was blessed with their son Anthony L. Rudolph in August l
of 1978. ,

Lee attended The Washington Drafting School where he mastered the

art of Cartography. Rudy was called to active duty to serve in Operation
Desert Storm (Saudi Arabia) with the 547th Transportation Unit. After

the successful completion of a year (1990-1991) of deployment,

Rudy returned home to his family in Washington D.C; where

he immediately began a career with the Smithsonian Institute.

After retirement in 2004 the entire Rudolph Family relocated to
McDonough, Georgia in order to be closer to both families.

Lee entered into eternal life on Tuesday, July, 212015; he leaves to
cherish his memories a devoted wife, Deborah, a son Anthony, a
daughter-in-law Erica and one grandson Ezekiel. Lee leaves one brother
James Sanders, loving step brothers and sisters; a host of nieces,
nephews, and cousins, two goddaughters,
devoted family members and friends.
