Feel free to browse this memorial page to really see what an amazing person she truly was.
Leesa had a way of making you feel like family from the moment you met her, and she always said that family was the most important thing in the world to her. She was such an inspiration, in that she loved every single person in her family unconditionally. She loved and would give anything for not only those closest to her, but even friends or strangers and never expected anything in return.
Leesa was incredibly artistic, and used that ability to create artwork for her business, to cook and bake, and most of all, to make music. Whether it was playing the piano, or listening to her beautiful singing, Leesa could change everything with song. She carried her passion for singing into barbershop music, and it brought her immense joy. She was the director of the local chapter of Sweet Adeline’s, The Pride of West Texas Show Chorus, and sang in several quartets through the years. Her family, friends, brothers and sisters in Christ, and her singing sisters will miss her tremendously, and will never forget the mark she left on this world.
Most importantly she loved her children and grandchildren and thought the world of them!
Her children Sarah and Siva Kanagaratnam, Sheena and Austin Escalon, Shiloh and Peggy Boling, and Sable and Aggie Taylor;
And her grandchildren Kyra Axtell, Drake Axtell, Kaeden Axtell, Daxton Axtell, Daphne Leatherwood, Charley Boling, Ryker Escalon, Sahana Kanagaratnam, Kree Escalon, Chloe Taylor, and Stevie Boling
