Lena J. Carrera born July 5th, 1939, passed away suddenly May 11th 2021. Lena was a kind and caring soul, always put others before herself and never gave second thought to her family. She is predeceased by her mother, Jenny Feola, father, Angelo Feola. Survived by her children, Dominic Carrera, Frank Carrera, Julianne (Tony) Salt and Salvatore Carrera, her 5 sisters and 2 brothers. She also has 19 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews as well as many friends. 

Lena wouldn’t want us to mourn, rather celebrate her life. So we ask of you to make any flower donations to local nursing homes, as she loved the staff and patients of Wesley Gardens, as a momentum of her life. 

There will be a small service Friday May 14th 1pm-4pm at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, 219 Spencerport Rd, Rochester, NY 14606. Her son Frank, and granddaughter Lena, will be hosting gathering for family to celebrate.
