his Life

With saddened hearts we announce the passing of Lenard (Len) Peter Timmerman, of Barrie, ON. Born in Glace Bay, NS, October 30, 1940; the son of Josephine (nee Mortz) and John Timmerman. In 1961, he married Muriel Wrice, and served three years in the militia. He went on to become a tradesman, working in the sheet metal industry for 50 years, Local 30. Len owned several companies and was highly respected as a Senior Estimator in his field. Len began his new journey with a golf tee, a guitar pick and a pen in his pocket – those that knew him know these were his passions: golf, music, and drawing up plans to build new things. Over the years, he jammed with his band The Hawkes (later Rebound), and many others. He lived athletically, and his awards for golf, baseball and bowling are numerous.
