Lenda K. Amburgey, 57, of Dayton passed peacefully at Hospice of Dayton on Sunday July 29th 2018. She was born July 1st 1961 to parents Keleson and Bernice Bledsoe whom she is preceded in death by. She is also preceded in death by two siblings; Rodney Shephard and Jeanie Pelfrey. Lenda is survived by her husband, Edward "Blaine" Amburgey and sons; Joshua (Sarah) Amburgey and Matthew (Kaitlyn) Amburgey. Also three beloved grandchildren Alexis and Aiden Amburgey, and Gavin Canup. Lenda leaves behind her twin sister Brenda (Rick) Byrge and siblings; Karen (Kevin) Whitenack, Judy Ammon, and Harold Shephard. Lenda was well loved by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services for Lenda will be held at Northridge Wesleyan Church (1842 Neff Rd, Dayton, Ohio 45414) on Saturday August 18th 2018. Family will receive friends at 9am followed by a service at 10am.
Professional arrangements entrusted to W.E. Lusain Funeral Home.

I Remember Lenda when i would always go other to my Brother n Law David house which he lived next door she would always be outside or coming in from an errand but she would wave and stop to chat and we continued to be good friends even with josh and matt rest in peace my dear friend i will miss you.

Aunt Lenda you were more than an aunt your my other mom u treated me like ur own I have so many memories and so do my boys of you especially brayden when you came to his graduation you were one of a kind loved everyone the same and was and still are a huge impact on many lives I love you and miss you terribly

Lenda, I can never thank you enough for the way you welcomed me into your family and loved your grandchildren unconditionally. Over the years you have been like another mother to me. I love you and I will think of you every day. I hope heaven is as beautiful as you are.
