Lennie as innocent as he is he would never purposely hurt anyone, but as it goes to show he had to much strength for his own good. Even though it wasn't on purpose A woman died because of Lennie as much as George knew he was innocent he coundn't let them throw him in jail or hurt him because Lennie woudn't understand a dam thing. When George found Lennie he had no choice but to put him down. so he made it as easy for Lennie as possible so he let him imagine the thing he wanted the most and let him go peace fully
