Lenora Avis Darst one of Jonathon Winans Davenport and Lois Gwyneth Davenports 15 children born on April 6, 1920. She met and married her sweetheart Harold Geiger and had three children Lois, John and Barbara and tragically in 1945 he was killed and she met and married Walter Darst and had a son Michael. From her children came 15 grandchildren.. Cindy Peggy Billy Keith Shelly Scott Bruce Susie Melissa Kenneth Jeff Gary Kevin Beth and Sheri. Many Great Grandchildren and Great Great grandchildren. They moved from the farm to Thurston in mid 70's and in few years later she lost her second husband. She adored her grandchildren playing cards and watching the cincinatti reds play. Her favorite holiday was christmas. She would spend hours getting her christmas tree just right and loved to go visit her children and grand children and fuss over their trees and deocrations as well. Every year there would be a huge christmas party and a lot of times santa would show up to give the children christmas presents. On January 17, 2002 she left us to go to join her husbands and family in heaven. I am certain she must be surrounded by children...
