Leo Taylor Adcock, 65, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Monday, August 27th 2012 at UNC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill.
A native of Granville County, the son of the late Henry Adcock. He was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church in Semora and retired from Athol Manufacturing in Butner after twenty-seven years of service.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 29th 2012 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church by Rev. Keith Williams. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving are his wife of forty- seven years, Lois Long Adcock of the home, two daughters, Bonnie Adcock Cheatham, Rhonda Adcock Jones, his mother, Fannie Mae Humphries Adcock , all of Oxford, three sisters, Mildred A. Raynor and Deborah A. Jackson, both of Rougemont, Merle A. Claiborne of Henderson, two brothers, Melvin Adcock and Cecil Adcock both of Rougemont, two granddaughters and one grandson. He was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Adcock and a brother, Ronnie Adcock.
Visitation 7:00-8:30 PM Tuesday evening, August 28th 2012 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home.
