My uncle Leo introduced me to jazz & of course his favorite singer, Sinatra at a very young age. My parents & I lived with Leo, my uncle Eddy & grandparents for awhile.I have fond memories of Leo playing the sax, Eddy, the trumpet, and Jam sessions with their friends. Leo never got upset with me when I would sneak downstairs to watch & listen when they had their parties. I will miss my uncle Leo, and always remember his kindness, his infectious laugh, & his sense of humor. RIP my dear uncle.

I have many nice child hood memories of Leo. He was the father of my dearest childhood friends. He will always live in my memory through his children who are like sisters to me.

Nous l'avons tous aimé
Il restera toujours dans nos pensées
Quelques fleurs au ciel jetées
Son âme accompagnera tous nos regrets

Though I never had the pleasure of meeting him, Leo looks like he had a FABULOUSLY FULL LIFE! I only get to enjoy his legacy in knowing Raegen, Alain, and Jayson. I see the pictures of the sax. Is THAT where Jay gets his musical propensities? Looks like a great guy, and I'm loving the photos! Thanks for letting me know about this site. Hugs and healing to your whole family. Nothing much tougher than losing a beloved parent. xo Bettina

S.F. Neighbors

Dear Leo,

You were the best (and craziest!) neighbor I ever had

Your passing leaves such a void and makes me so sad

It's difficult to conceive - I can hardly believe

You are no longer here - my doorbell ringing I will no longer hear

Dear Uncle Leo you were the best - I know you are with mom & dad and all the rest

Uncle Leo keep playing your sax- I hope your music brings everyone much love, joy, and cheer

I hope you are all laughing, dancing and grinning from ear to ear...

Happy Birthday Uncle Leo - I miss you...

All my love,

your niece Ceci
