Life reflections

Leona Elaine Marshall, 65 of Lakewood, New Jersey departed this life on Thursday March 14, 2019 at New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Born Monday, August 3, 1953 to the late Leroy Marshall Sr. and Betty Wilder. Leona was the fourth born of six children including five girls and one boy.  Leona received her education through the Lakewood School System.

For over 4 decades she worked as a CNA for Harrogate, Fountain View and Bella Terra devoting her life to assisting and helping others. Leona enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. Her beautiful warm smile, kind heart and laugh will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her beloved companion, Sylvester Conquest Jr., her sisters, Vivian Ward and Betty Jean Marshall. Her brother, Leroy Marshall Jr., her daughter Lisa Raynetta Marshall and her son Samuel “S.C.” Conquest Marshall.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved sons, Rodney Marshall Sr. (Robin) of Toms River NJ, Sylvester Conquest Marshall (Tabitha) of Boardman, OH, sisters, Virginia Marshall of Lakewood, NJ, Linda Bivins, of Newark, NJ her grandchildren, Elaina Marshall, Rodney Marshall Jr. Ramell White, Taigha Cummings, Wayne Holmes, Tiana Phillips, Aza Marshall, Tyshika Marshall Conway, Tashawn Morris, Daevon Marshall, Myasia Bennett, Kaleel Holly, Jahmere Chapman, Jadheer Chapman, Aria Marshall and Samuel Marshall II. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great grandchildren and friends.
