I remeber once when I was like 16 Katie and I snuck out of the house in the middle of the night. We were galvanting around the trailer park when all of a sudden my cellphone rang. I pull it out and it's the house phone calling. So Katie and I sprint as fast as our little legs could take us back home, dive in the window of the pump house prepared to pretend we were there the entire time, fearing moms wrath, when the home phone called again. Answer it only to find out that it's just Leonard, who had snuck into the house we'd snuck out of looking for us. still to this day I've never ran so fast in my life. Little shit gave me the scare of a lifetime.

Baby

April 29, 2019

My favorite memory of my whole entire life is after 12 hours of labor it was time to push and Leonard was holding one leg and Cindy was holding the other and Leonard looked so excited and scared but stayed strong and didn’t pass out on me lol. Then Bentley came out and I was staring at Leonard and I kept saying “Leonard do you see him!” And he was “like yes Ashley I’m standing right here” lol and then he cut the cord and that made him want to puke as well. I always loved him but he fell in love with me all over again that day. When we got to go home from the hospital we spent days just staring at our boy for hours we would try to watch a movie but before you knew it the movie was over and we missed the whole thing cause we were too busy staring in disbelief at what we made together. It was like we were little kids again. I can’t know of anything like the love Leonard had for our son. No matter what he was always wishing for him, letting him beat him up in wrestling, loving him more than anything in the world.

April fools

April 29, 2019

Bentley was born on February 9th. On April first we woke up and Leonard was making breakfast (he was the better cook for sure) and I told him that I was pregnant AGAIN. I’ve never seen so much panic flash through someone’s eyes in a split second as I did just then. He had no idea it was April fools day. We laughed so hard after I kept him going for a while then we called Cindy and tried to get her going but I think she knew what day it was.
