His Life

Born on March 20, 1963 in Tuskegee, AL, he was the son of Mrs. Cheryl Whatley Peay and the late Willie James Coleman, and was raised by grandmother, the late Mrs. Elizabeth Whatley.

He was a U. S. Army Veteran of Desert Storm, who retired following 21 years of dedicated services. He was currently working for Lear-Siegel as a Supervisor and was a Prince Hall Mason. 

Surviving his departure with cherished memories, include: his wife of 27 years, Mrs. Etta Letman Whatley; two sons, Fredrico Letman and Leonard Whatley; one daughter, Tynikia Killings (Jerry, Jr.); five grandchildren, Tyzhe, Aaliyah, Jayla, Jalia and Kinsley; three brothers, Michael Whatley (Cynthia), Tyrone Coleman and Eric Whatley; three sisters, Katrena Turner (Tracey) and Letecia Peay and LaShonda Peay; devoted aunt, Shirley Watson (Willie); devoted friend, Tyrone English (Rhonda); a host of other relatives and friends.
