Mr. Leroy Tuck was born September 19, 1927 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to the late Mr. Sam Tuck and Kate Ransaw Tuck.

He accepted Christ into his life at an early age by joining New Elam #1 Baptist Church and later united with the Elam #2 Baptist church working as a faithful member and chairman of Deacons until his illness.

On August 28, 1949 he married Mattie Love Goggans Tuck. Leroy was a hard worker, a provider, devoted to his family, a father and a grandfather who was always willing to give a helping hand to his brother or sister in need. He was employed with Robinson Foundry for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife the late Mattie Love Goggans Tuck and a son, the late Rev. Larry Tuck.

Mr. Leroy Tuck departed this life on Monday, August 22, 2011.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Seven children: Mr. Jimmy (Elaine) Tuck and Mr. Gregory (Cornelia) Tuck, both of Kellyton, AL; Mr. Spencer (Carrie) Tuck and Mr. Jeffrey (Felicia) Tuck, both of Rockford, AL; Ms. Debra Tuck Boddie, Mrs. Brenda (Pastor Wayne) Davis both of Kellyton, AL; Mrs. Jacqueline (Randall) Birmingham of Alexander City, AL. He also leaves three brothers: Mr. Samuel L. Tuck of Detroit, MI; Mr. Charlie (Faye) Tuck of Warner Robbins, GA; Mr. Gary Edwards of Alexander City, AL. One sister, Ms. Helen Brooks of Alexander City, AL. Five sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law, twenty eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service for Mr. Leroy Tuck will be Saturday , August 27, 2011 1:00 p.m. at Peace and Goodwill Baptist Church in Kellyton Alabama with burial following in the church cemetery.
