LES BRYANT

 Leslie Allen Bryant  (Bunk) was born, march 27,1947, in Carbondale PA. His mother was Marie (Sullivan) Van Wagner. His biological father was Elliot Bryant. His "real" father (who loved and raised him) was Roy VanWagner. He grew up in Livingston Manor, NY on his family dairy farm. He was drafted into the Army during the Vietnam War and served his Country honorably.  He then spent most of his life in central Florida. He worked as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator for many years.

   He never met a stranger and was known for helping anyone he came in contact with. He was a very good neighbor and friend to many. He was a member of the Marion County Honor gard, Dunnellon American Legion, Hernando VFW, and Florida Flywheel tractor Club.

Bunk passed away on August 7th, at his home attended by hospice of Marion County and lovingly cared for by his wife Julie. He is survived by his sons, Eddie and Skyler, daughter Essie, stepdaughters, Shari and Mindy, and 12 grandchildren. He left behind sisters, Elaine and Rhee, brother Rick, and many nieces, nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother Butch and sister Iva Mae. 

Military service will be conducted by the Marion County Honor Guard August 22nd at 9 A.M. at the Florida National Cemetry Bushnell, Fl.
