Our dad was born on 19th February 1926 in North Kensington,2nd of 5 children.

Educated at  Middle Row School in Kensal Green.

Evacuated to Trowbridge in 1939.

1940 left school,and worked at a Brass Foundary,as a woodworker,labourer,machine worker and storekeeper for the next few years.

His father Alfred died in 1944 when dad was 18 years old.

1944-47 Dad did National Service for his country,serving in the Worcester and Leicestershire Regiments in the UK,and then The Somerset Light Infantry stationed in India,helping to rebuild the country at the end of  World War II.

1947 Demobbed from the army,and began working as a Porter with London Underground. He then became a Roundsman at The Star Newspaper in Fleet Street.

1960 Became a Casual on newspapers in London.

1961 Married Rose Morgan and became a father when their daughter Dawn was born. Started working at Wrightsons as a Printer.

1963 Became a father for the 2nd time when he's son Chris was born.

1966 Moved house to Hanwell,West London.

1981 His mother Emily died.

1987 Became a grandfather for the first time when his daughter gave birth to Natalie. Also this year his elder brother Percy died.

1990 Became a grandfather for the 2nd time when his grandson Scott was born.

1991 Moved house to Yeading,Middlesex.

1993 Dad retired after 32 years service with Wrightsons.

1994 His 3rd grandchild Lucy was born.

1999 His youngest sister Elsie died.

2006 Celebrated his 80th birthday .

2007 His youngest brother Wally died.

Feb 2010 Diagnosed with Lung Cancer.

Sep 2010 Died after a courageous 7 month battle,surrounded by his family......RIP Dad x

May 2011 His beloved eldest sister Rose died.

May 2012 Remembered in the Groom's speech at the wedding of his eldest niece Natalie to Robert Fabron.

September 2013 Became a Great Grandfather with the birth of his Great Grandson, Tristan William Fabron.

July 2015 Became a Great Grandfather for the 2nd & 3rd times with the birth of his twin Great Granddaughters, Harmony Grace Fabron & Scarlett Rose Fabron.

February 26th 2016 Remembered on his 90th birthday by family & friends.
