A year has passed since you left us far too early far too soon. Still missing you loads and always will.
In a few weeks time, the gang will meet again two years on from one of the best holidays we got to all spend together.
Little did we know that you would no longer be with us today. It’s not going to be the same without your determination & your joie de vivre but we will try our very best to always follow your wise guidance and make the most of what life has to offer and cherish every moment we get to still be one of the gang !
Great big huge HUGE hugs to Roger & family and to everyone in our gang XxxxX

CELIA MY FRIEND
Celia joined my husband Richard in general practice 40 years ago. We soon became firm friends. We were mostly on the same wavelength! I always said Richard had two partners, one at home and one in work. They didn’t always agree on work experiences which ended up with many long debates. Not sure who won these discussions, but you could rest assured they were both stubborn and determined!
There was no malice, just two interesting people debating life which was interesting, funny and sometimes frustrating. But they had a very healthy lovely relationship.
I loved Celia’s company. She was always interesting and interested. She was warm, compassionate, helpful and loyal. Celia did everything at 100 miles an hour. Something that I smiled at. 25 years ago we went on holiday to New York and every morning at 7am she was down the gym. Sorry, but I stayed tucked up in bed. No point trying to keep up. She hasn’t changed since and neither have I.
We have spent many holidays together, winter skiing and summer. The last two holidays were spent following the history of the First World War then the second. Unfortunately our holiday to New Zealand last year was cancelled due to Covid. So sad that we cannot do that again.
Celia has three brilliant children who are a credit to her quidance, wisdom, warmth and work ethic.
I will miss celia terribly. I still cannot believe I will not share a moment with her again. But I have many years of memories and her legacy will live on in Emma,Beth Rhys,Tomos and Henri. Roger......much love.
