I went to grade school with Lesley in Portland (Our Lady of Sorrows). We were great friends and she was so much fun. I remember going over to her house and hearing Queen for the first time (also trying an artichoke for the first time.) She was always so fun and beautiful inside and out. I'm so sad that she is gone so soon but hopefully on to better and amazing places. Thoughts and best wishes for her family.

Lesley Fouche-Jackson died on Thursday, January 10 in Del Ray, Florida from complications during cancer treatment. She died in hospice with her husband Matt Jackson, and her sister Robin Fouche at her side.
Lesley loved new adventures and new places, she was born in Denver, Colorado and lived in Boise Idaho, Portland, Oregon, San Francisco, California, Stuart, Florida, and Kansas City, Missouri, and finally moved with her husband to Lake Worth, Florida. Her travels took her to Mexico, Hawaii, France, Peru, Bali, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Some of her adventures included SCUBA diving, skydiving, swimming with whales, underwater photography, and walking on fire.
In 1985 she decided that alcohol was not adding anything useful to her life so she stopped drinking and spent the rest of her life devoted to spiritual quests, she also helped many other people in their own searches. She was a skilled breathwork facilitator and cofounded Sacred Spirals in Kansas City, MO, a nonprofit organization that holds monthly breathwork retreats.
Lesley and Matt built an underground utility construction company and Lesley was recognized as one of the top woman entrepreneurs in the state of Florida. She also flipped houses in Florida and Missouri. Her intuitive sense of style made her homes highly sought after.
Everything about Lesley was big, her smile, her heart, her laugh, and her love for the people in her life. She is incredibly missed by the people she touched.
Lesley is preceded in death by her stepfather Rod Daggett. She is survived by her husband Matt, her mother Fran Daggett, her sister Robin, stepdaughters Jayme and Natalie Jackson, and her nieces and nephews, Christy Greenwood, Tyler, Andrea, Brendan, and Connor Hulegaard, and two step-grandsons.
A Celebration of Lesley's life will be held on Saturday, February 2 at 1:00 PM at Holman's Funeral Home, 2610 SE Hawthorne Blvd., Portland, Oregon
