July 22, 1983- July 31, 2022
On July 31, 2022, our dear Lester Abraham Ruiz left this world to be with his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, at the age of 39, after a long battle with a difficult illness.
His passing will leave a large gap in the lives of those who knew and loved him. His life was cut far too short, and those fortunate to interact with him knew how easily his warm and welcoming personality would draw people to him. Lester was a thoughtful, creative, and unique soul who enjoyed arts, music, and learning. His greatest pride was his two children, whom he loved dearly. Even through his struggles, he loved helping people in need.
He was predeceased by his father, Carlos Jr. Ruiz. Lester leaves behind his children, Arielle and Liam, and their mother, Marilyn Lanni, his mother Ana Martinez, siblings Byron (Christine), Jimmy, Sindy (Yosef), Caroline (Jacob), Carlos (Cheyenne), Saly and Melvin, and his in-laws whom he considered his mentors and parents, Joseph Lanni and Pina Di Dio, his nephews and nieces Van-Carlos, Eva, Anais and Elizabeth, and family, Vanessa Arruda and Melissa Prigioniero.
He will be dearly missed by his family, his many friends across Canada, and all whose lives he touched.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at Église la Présentation-de-la-Sainte-Vierge -- 655, avenue de l'Église, Dorval (QC) H9S 1R4. There will be a live stream at the following web address posted in the front page notes.
