Lew Tygard passed away on December 7, 2015 surrounded by his family. Lew was a beloved husband to Ginger (who passed away in March 1994) for 42 years, loving father to Toni (Glenn) Humphriss, Laurie (Dan) Wojtas and Sandi (Mike) Pitt. He was predeceased by 2 sons, Lewis"Ty" and Paul Charles Tygard. He was cherished grandfather to Jay, Josie, Matthew, Christerpher, Angel, and Paul Jason Tygard Melissa Jones, Wendi Young, Cathi Milke, Anthony Abrignani, Juliana Pitt and the late Angela Blevins. He is great-grandfather to 7. 
Throughout life, Lew enjoyed boating, golf, photography, hunting and fishing and was a proud veteran of the US Army. A memorial service will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery  in Holly, Michigan on Tuesday, May 24th at 11:30 a.m. Guests are invited to a luncheon to be held after at Lucky's Steakhouse in Fenton, Michigan.
