We miss you on the 1st anniversary of your homegoing, I know you are happy being reunited with Betty Sue.
Mr. Lewis Yancey 85, of LaFayette, Alabama died Thursday July 16, 2015 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at the Center Baptist Church at 1:30PM on Sunday July 19, 2015 with burial in the LaFayette City Cemetery with the Rev. Randall Hamer and the Rev. Jimmy Allen officiating.
Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 1PM until 1:30PM prior to the service.

Lewis Yancey was a strong man with a gentle spirit that brought happiness and security to whatever setting he was in. Men like him are few and far between. He will live strong in my memory, because he dealt with some really tough issues in life with Betty Sue and they both came through stronger and more beautiful than ever. Will see you in Heaven Lewis. God made my life better because he put you in my path.
