Mrs. Lila Johnson Ford began her life in Tallapoosa County, Dadeville, Alabama on July 7, 1925 to the late Mr. Gob Johnson and Mrs. Florence Turk Johnson.

 

Sis. Ford accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior very early in life and united with the Sardis Missionary Baptist Church.

 

Sis. Ford united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Glover Harmon and later married the late Mr. Howard Ford.

 

Sis. Ford was preceded in death by siblings; Mr. Lewis Johnson, Mr. John Ed Johnson, Mr. Wilbert Johnson, Mrs. Florence Harmon, Mrs. Zula Foster,Mrs. Daisy Shannon, Ms. Hat Johnson and Mrs. Zora Burton.

 

Sis. Ford departed this earthly life on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at Dadeville Health Care.

 

She leaves to cherish her memories; a brother, Mr. William Johnson, Dadeville, Alabama; special nephew, Mr. Suroy (Evelyn) Foster, Auburn Alabama; special nieces, Sis. Bernice (Luther) Canada, and Sis. Beatrice Rowe, Dadeville, Alabama.  A host of other special nieces and nephews; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law, friends and caregivers of Dadeville Health Care.
