One of the most caring and hard working happy and vibrant people in my memories. Aunti Linda was like A second mother to me, caring for me as A young lost teen. She will forever be missed may the angels comfort her and God hold her in his arms

Reflections From Her Mother

April 1, 2021
Linda

If I reflect on our journey together over these past 62 years I am reminded of the things we shared together you always saying ‘I’ll always be your baby’ and I wanna be like you when I grow up always put a smile on my face.

We also had some bittersweet moments, Bitter for the lessons that had to be learned and the sweet was for the blessing and healing we got from it.

What brings tears to my eyes and joy in my heart were our last words to each other, i love you ma and, I love you Linda.

Sweet dreams, your grandmothers are waiting for you on the other side. Your journey is complete. You will always be in my heart.

Reflections From Her Brother-In-Law

April 1, 2021
Today God called you home,
Extended His arms and opened Heavens Doors,
Heaven is more beautiful because my sister-in-law is there,
walking with the Angels in Jesus’ loving care.
I will always love and miss you Sis

Reflections from Her 1st Daughter

Ma,

Reality still hasn’t set in that you made your decision to leave this earth because heaven needed you more than this world did. The best thing you could’ve ever done was raise two daughters to the best of your abilities. I promise to continue to make you proud and do the same with your grandson.

I have not had many words since you left us, just trying to wrap my family in my arms and grieve!

See you in Hollywood, again Queen!

Reflections from her Son-in-Law

April 2, 2021
To my mother-in-law Linda, I bid you a final farewell.

I can honestly say there is no one in the world like my mother-in-law, you are and always will be, one of a kind. I will forever cherish our debates on rap music and basketball. I’m also so blessed and happy to know that you got to spend your final moments with all three of your grandchildren. You also gave birth to and raised two excellent, strong, and independent black women. Mission complete, Ma.

You are and always will be loved Ma.

Love you,

Chris

Reflections from Her Niece

Auntie,

I can't even believe I'm writing this. I promise you I wasn't ready for you to leave, especially not like this. You always used to tell me, I was your favorite niece and I would ever so kindly remind you that I was your only niece. The last time I saw you, we had a BLAST and for that... I am so grateful. We shared so many special moments, and I can't believe that was cut so short, but I'll cherish what we had forever.

In my heart always and forever, Auntie!

Some things I remember about you Nana is when we cooked together when I visited you. We use to make all kinds of things. I also remember when we danced to music. We had such a blast. I love and miss you! R.I.P my beautiful Nana!

Now you are in a better place with god. Love you so much.

Love,

Janiyah

Reflections from Her 2nd Grandchild

To my special Nana,

My best memory of us together is you taking care of me while mom worked, I loved watching Jeopardy with you, listening to music downstairs and making pizzas. I will always remember the fun times we shared.

I love you....❤️

Nana,

The most favorite thing that we did together was draw pictures. I only wish we could have done more. I’ll always love you.
