Linda Ruth Hunter was born July 10, 1956 in Abilene, Texas to Pauline Hunter and Emest Woods.

She was called home May 14,2015 at East Alabama Medical Center. She passed peacefully after a short battle with pneumonia. She was passionate about her family and believed cleanliness is next to Godliness. She devoted her life to caring for others; putting the needs of others before her own. She was the cheerleader that would be the first to congratulate you. She was the friend that would listen and offer words of encouragement during your time of need.
She was always available.

She enjoyed cross-word puzles, the seriers "The Walking
Dead" and people watching.

She was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother.

 

She is preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Hunter and
sisters, Sybil McGarity, Inita Sanders, Joanne McBride.
She is survived by: her daughter, Qweshia Monay Hunter of
Alexander City,Alabama; two granddaughters, Kiona Nykel Garza,
Quanika Nichelle Marshall; two grandsons, Zahquan Jamal Hunter,
LeZavion Neremiah Hunter; two great-grandchildren, Adarien Isaiah
Adamson and Lyona La'Nae Marshall; brothers and sisters, Benny
Hunter, Greg Sanders, Darrell Sanders, Larry Colbert, Cynthia
Jordan, Tony Colbert and Keith Hunter.
