From Wayne Evans: To my brother, Mike was born the eldest of six children. He was taught to be the mentor and the teacher to his younger siblings. He did this not by choice but accepted this with all his wellbeing. He was a great mentor to me and without his teachings, I would not be the man I am today. He was intelligent and very artistic. He left behind some great kids. I am honored to be his brother, his friend. I will love him forever. Rest in peace Mike.

Mike I am truly blessed to have had time to get to know you better. It meant a lot to me to spend time with someone from Wayne's family. We missed time with them after moving to Mass and still do. Your sense of humor was contagious and your smile bright. Thanks for helping to get me out of the river when the Saco River sucked Wayne and I under when going through the rapids. I am grateful you found some harmony in life and wish the disease had not captured you. Thanks for the calls, letting Bryanna watch the Simpsons, watching Seinfeld together and the laughs XOXO Diane

Today my family and I will walk your favorite place to celebrate the life we shared with you. Happy 61st bday in heaven, Mike!

You fought a good fight to stay with the ones you hold dear. It was a pleasure to know you on this earth. Thank you for your heart and love for the Chanoz dogs that lived with you. Prayers for all that love you to have peace that passes all understanding for our loving Jesus.
