Lin's funeral will take place on Monday 15 May at 1330 at Easthampstead Park Crematorium, Nine Mile Ride, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG40 3DW and then after at Easthampstead Park, Off Peacock Lane, Wokingham, RG40 3DB (please use this postcode for satnav).
Family flowers only and we will provide information next week on how to make donations to Cancer Research UK in Lin's name for those who wish to.
If you would like to attend the funeral please email woodfamily1949@gmail.com so that we can make the appropriate arrangements for catering at the venue.

This memorial website was created in memory of Lin Wood. Lin had been suffering from ill-health but her death was unexpected. She was found by her eldest son, Andy, and shortly after by her youngest son Matt, at home in her bed on Saturday 29 April.

I am so sorry to learn such sad news. I loved working with Lin at Bearwood College; she was such a warm hearted, kind and gentle lady. She always made me welcome when I popped in for a chat, especially when I first started and was finding my way around the school. She was funny and generous with her time and totally devoted to her family. I loved seeing her photos of you all. She will be much missed. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

Lin truly adored her beautiful family, on my visits to her office from the nursery at Bearwood I enjoyed seeing pictures and hearing all about them all. Lin made me smile every time I saw her, she had a heart of gold. She inspired all around her with her cheerful ways. I will never forget the hug we shared when I passed my GCSE maths she always had faith that I could and truly believed that even in my 30's it wasn't too late. Thank you for all the laughs and support and my heart and all my love goes out to your family. God Bless you and Big Hugs x x x

Lin was a special friend to me, I was very privileged to have shared an office with her at Bearwood, she was the most kind and caring person you could wish to meet. Always thought about everyone else before herself. A very proud, independent lady who absolutely loved her family.
