We will remember Pastor Whitt forever.

Funeral Service: Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at Faith Chapel, 100 Mike Moore Boulevard, Birmingham, Alabama 35224.

There will be no public viewing.

Linda Anderson Whitt was born June 2, 1954 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Rogers and Rosie Lee Anderson. She was the fourth of five children born to this union. She accepted Christ at an early age and joined Friendship Primitive Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend McDole.

Linda attended Birmingham City Schools and graduated from historic Western Olin High School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanics University in Huntsville, Alabama.

It was there that she met the love of her life, the late Gary Keith Whitt, Sr. As the couple fell in love, they had no idea what God had in store for their futures. After serving as an associate minister and a pastor, God gave Gary Keith Whitt, Sr. the vision to start a new church in Birmingham, AL named Calvary Resurrection Christian Church. As God revealed His purpose to Pastor Gary Keith Whitt, Sr., Linda firmly stood by his side. The couple ran with the vision God gave them taking Birmingham by storm.

In February 1997, Pastor Gary Keith Whitt, Sr. took his place in heaven and watched over his favorite girl from above. It was during this transition, that Linda encountered the biggest challenge of her life- a calling to serve as the Senior Pastor of Calvary Resurrection Christian Church. For the next two decades, she continued the great work of leading a congregation and God's people to the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Linda Whitt was called and committed to helping people build a solid relationship with the Lord as they learned to walk by faith and not by sight.

Continuing the vision of the late Pastor Gary Keith Whitt, Sr., Linda remained in strong covenant relationship under the leadership of Dr. Creflo Dollar of World Changers Church International of College Park, Georgia. Pastor Whitt was a proud member of the Creflo Dollar Ministerial Association, holding the title of The Queen of CDMA.

Pastor Linda Whitt peacefully departed this earthly life on Sunday, December 23, 2018. She will be remembered for her exceptional, practical teaching, ministerial leadership, and her optimistic approach to living life for Jesus Christ without compromise.

Cherishing her memory are: three children- Anton Whitt, Gary Keith Whitt, Jr, and Denika Whitt-McCall and Brandon A. McCall (son-in-love); six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers- Rogers Anderson, Jr., Wendall Nickerson, and Michael Whitt; sisters- Wendolyn Anderson, Betty Bishop, Diane Colvin, and Margaret Price; Ola Jean Scott (mother-in-love); a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends; and, of course, the best church on this side of heaven- Calvary Resurrection Christian Church.

Our world has been illumined by God’s own Light- Pastor Linda Anderson Whitt. We move forward in The Lord knowing "ALL IS WELL".

Dear sweet Pastor, you were a strong tower for me and my family in the loss of both my Parents and my Brother in love. You were with us from beginning to end and even after that you checked in to make sure we were ok. You were a wonderful Pastor, teaching and preaching the Word of God. You have run your course, you have finished your race, now is laid up for you a crown of righteousness which the Lord our God will give you on that day. You will be missed physically but your presence is always near. Rest well thou good and faithful servant...we will see you again on the other side. Love you always!❤

Pastor Linda A. Whitt was the epitome of a godly woman. She walked the TALK, she led by example, and she showed us the way. She has been a tower of strength and encouragement for me in SO many life situations. The impact she has had in my life is immeasurable and I will never forget the love, the talks, and most of all the lessons she taught me through her life. Revelation 14:13 — Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them. Family, may the Peace of God which passes all understanding place a guard around your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. See Philippians 4:4-6 for the four conditions to the complete manifestation of His Peace - rejoice in the Lord always, be kind and gentle to all, do not worry about anything, pray about everything. Amen.

I cannot begin to explain the impact this Woman Of God has had on my life, my family and my ministry. The void that I manage knowing that she is gone from this earth realm is indescribable. I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that All is Well, I've just got to keep commanding and demanding this flesh to line up with what I know to be true in my spirit. Pastor Linda A. Whitt has truly been a gift to the Kingdom of God and will live forever both in my heart and in my soul. God bless the Anderson, Whitt and CRCC family. I love you all very much. Minister Jay ❤❤

It is well (it is well) With my soul (with my soul) It is well, it is well, with my soul! (Love, Peace, Comfort and Strength to the entire Whitt/Anderson Family)
