Her Life
December 2, 2013
My mama Lisa has two of the most wonderful, caring parents a child could ever ask for, and a sister who loved her with all her heart. She lived in a beautiful home in Thousand Oaks, Ca. She dated my biological father all through high school, and had me when she was 18 yrs old. Eventually, when I was 18 months old, she met and married the dad who raised me, Gary. We lived in many different places, one of the most memorable was when we lived in Tucson, Az. I can remember how hard she worked to support me and my brother, making lampshades by the dozens. Every day she'd sweat over hot wax to make beautiful lampshades for others to buy, and came home every evening exhausted, but still made time to do things with us that we wanted to do. Eventually I went back to Thousand Oaks, and shortly after mom and my brother followed. I ended up moving to Wisconsin where I met my current husband, while my mama and my brother moved to New Mexico with her parents. She lived in Ruidoso, in a beautiful home with a fireplace like she had always wanted. She worked at the local grocery store as a receiving manager, and was well loved by everyone. She loved to garden, and she loved her animals. She always rescued the ones most in need, she had a huge heart and spread her love all over. She was a very special lady, wife, mother, daughter and sister. Her #1 all time favorite band was KISS, and loved to have any memorabilia she could get here hands on. She was a huge horse lover, but loved every animal she came across. She was a most wonderful, loving, caring lady.
