Lisa Lynn Jackson, 56, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away the morning of June 1, 2013 in her daughter’s home in Stuart, Florida.

Lisa was the first of five children born to William “Red” Farrow and Kareen Kerr Jackson on October 8, 1956 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Lisa is survived by ex-husband, long time companion, and best friend George “Scottie” Scott of Punta Gorda, Florida. Lisa moved from the Carolinas to begin her 30 year adventure with Scottie in January of 1989. The two partners in crime have been best known for their antics at Scottie’s bar, “Last Chance” in Solona, Florida where they befriended many. Lisa’s quick wit and feisty personality also suited her well while owning and operating her own bail bonding company in the early nineties.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Kareen Jackson, brothers William “Bill,” Scott, and Clay Jackson all of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and sister, Laurie Jackson Rucci of Port Charlotte, Florida. Lisa is also survived by one daughter, Jennifer Jackson Doolity of Stuart, Florida, sons Adam Honeycutt of Port Charlotte and Matthew Honeycutt of Charlotte, North Carolina, and granddaughters, Morgan Avery Wiegle of Stuart, Florida and newborn Aurora Honeycutt of Port Charlotte, Florida.

A private gathering will be at the Jackson family home in South Carolina at a later date this month. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
