Although I have been friends with Lisa since middle school, we became inseparable best friends in high school, about 1987 at the age of 14 or over 30 years ago. She instantly became my kindred spirit. We did everything together, went everywhere together even had boyfriends who were friends so we could always be together.
We loved camping with family and friends! Exploring the world in front of us was very special.
We shared a very deep appreciation for music, we bonded deeply through it. We could do nothing for hours just listening to some beautiful tunes. We never missed a concert even when we didn’t agree on the music, we still supported each other! From New Kids on the block with my younger cousins to Alice Cooper to Depeche Mode and the country festivals I made her go to!
A few years after high school graduation we decided it was time to make a change. So we wrote down 4 city/states put them in a hat and drew the winner Phoenix Arizona. So we packed up a pickup truck with all we could fit (even the hangers) and pooled our money just over $2000 which was a lot in 94 and off we went! Living in Arizona, Moving every 6 months we made a lot of awesome friends and traveled to so many places we had always wanted to go.
In 1999 I left Arizona and tried to get her to come with me but her heart was home in Arizona, although we had over 3000 miles between us we never lost our beautiful bond. Visiting each other almost every year, seeing her a mother to her beautiful daughter Sophia Eve was the most beautiful accomplishment yet.
I will forever miss our visits, calls, texts and our special bond. My love for you Lisa will live on through your beautiful Sophia Eve ♥️

Lisa,
It's hard to find the words, with so many grieving and so many missing you. We had some really fun times in high school and some years beyond that. We took you to Kentucky with us for Easter and mom always made you a basket. You were a fixture at the house just hanging out. From concerts to camping and everything in between. Too many memories to list, but in my heart. I wished we would have stayed in touch more after you moved out of state. You reached out to me once my daughter was born to share in the joy that only a daughter can bring, and shared how much in love with Sophia you were. I will remember our bond and cherish those memories of you. All my love to you! Strength, love, and peace to your family ❤️

I remember Lisa as a happy person that always had a smile on her face. The last time I saw her was 3 or 4 years ago when she came to visit. We all attended a No Doubt concert and had a great time. Lisa will be forever missed. RIP!!! Love ya Scott

To my beautiful Sister Golden Hair Surprise

My heart is broken. I have no ability to write some well-worded poetic tribute to you yet. I loved you more than you will ever know. You made me crazy with worry and stress. We fought constantly. You are one of the great loves of my life and my biggest antagonist. Our complicated relationship runs deeper than most could comprehend and it is not over. I feel you everywhere, smell you, see you every moment in your beautiful daughter. I never gave up on you and I wouldn't change a thing. I know you are finally at peace and can feel all the love the universe has for you. You will forever be in my heart baby sister.  Love you - your sister Lynn
