This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Lisa Brooks, 37, born on January 20, 1979 and passed away on March 20, 2016. We will remember her forever.

Lisa was a loving mother daughter sister aunt niece  friend. ...Her life was taken from her because of poor choices  drinking drugs and driving  she was minding her own business driving to work trying  to provide  for her son on a Sunday morning  on her way to her 2nd job when she was hit head on by a dui driver  and GONE so unfair

As we are left with why dear lord why ?

Her son was her everything  And she was ours

When I think of Lisa, I think of the little girl I first met who was happy and had a big smile. Every time I saw her, she was like that even through the pain of chemotherapy. She was a brave little girl and endured more than some adults could. May she rest in peace and I know she will forever be in the hearts of those who loved her.

I think of Lisa almost every day. Still doesn't make sense that she fought so hard to survive childhood cancer and then to be taken to soon and so senselessly! I love you cousin and I know you are with Nanny, Uncle Mike, my dad and many others that embraced you with loving arms. Rest peacefully sweet angel.
