My Memories of you Lisa

November 25, 2012

With a smile that could light up any room and with eyes so beautiful that I knew  you had some Japanese in you (LOL).  You were my close childhood friend, and as a teenager you were my confidant.  You stood by me and your brother as we said our vows to God above and I officially became one of the family.  You confided in me when Sukaria was conceived but you were to scared to tell your mom and dad.

We shared so many delightful memories, and even though lives get busy and people move away, you can never be forgotten.  In my heart is where you will stay, with wonderful memories, some of them funny and some of them sad.

I will never forget the time I bought this raggedy yellow MG Midget.  It was a stick and a piece of junk.  We were reckless and young, throwing caution to the wind
I asked you to go with me to drive the car home.  The only catch was that we could not stop or the motor would cut off, and then we would have to push start it and get a jump.  So we drove down Avalon at top speed, and screamed through every red light we ran. Now that I am an adult, I see just how silly, stupid, and dangerous we were but at the time, it was for the thrill of it all.

I don't understand why God had to take you home?  I cry myself to sleep at night because I am trying to make since of it all.  I know I have no right to question God, but the selfish part of me wants her here, with us, RIGHT NOW!!!

I wanted to do something special for the family of Lisa, so that all of her family and friends can write something about her life, their thoughts, their memories
of this PHENOMENAL WOMAN.  I'm sure we all have some wonderful memories of Mrs. Lisa Michelle Cherry that we can share with the world.

You are truly missed but you sleep with the Angels and your memory will go on forever and ever,

Love,
Your Sister-in-Law
