Lizzie R. Hines was born in Union, South Carolina on February 18th to the late Robert and Lillie Ruth Rice in 1946. She was the eldest of nine children. With a loving heart, mothering nature and her warm smile Lizz captured the hearts of many. A former truck driver and retired employee of Montgomery County Children Services. An active and devoted member of the North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses; where she took extreme delight in fellowshipping with her spiritual family at meetings and working alongside them in the field ministry.

She adored her family, friends and left her mark on all she encountered. A no nonsense, strong-willed, say it like it was, determined woman, with a chic sense of style and grace. She lived and spoke with purpose.

Gwen:  My Sister-Law Liz has been a welcome part of my life for thirty-five years. We early on became more than in-laws but sisters as we enjoyed common beliefs and enjoyed associating at Bible conventions. When we got together we would have long conversations and share Bible experiences we had in the field ministry. Both she and Raymond will be missed until that day when Jehovah God restores their life and good health in the coming cleansed earth.

DuWayne:  Gwen and I want to express our condolences. This is a time we truly need Jehovah God. We all can appreciate the future hope at Isaiah 26:19 it says “Your dead will live, my corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully you residences in the dust...and the earth will let those powerless in death come to life.” So we want to be there to experience it with our loved ones. So, do all you can to be there.

Liz was a loving sister to me from the first day I met her. We had a lot of great times together. We watch each other's kid grow up. My son's knew that she would spank that boom boom as she would call it when they needed it. When I needed her she was there. This is really hard because of losing Raymond and now losing her my heart is hurting. To Melba Bryant and Rocky I love you all Rest in peace Raymond and Liz until we see each other again.

My Aunt Lizz will truly be missed. I spoke to her recently before she was sick,  I checked on her to see how she was doing. She told me not good, because she was grieving from loosing her husband. I told her I'll keep her in prayer. She said thank you.. I'll hold the memories we shared from years ago in my heart. She was very special to me.. She gave me the nickname GiGi. To my cousins Bryant, Melva and Rockie I LOVE you, i will be keeping you guys lifted up in prayer.

On behalf of the Bohannon family, Mary (Chicken) Billy, Tonda, Cheryl, Michael and extended family, we send our deepest condolences. Liz will always be remembered. I especially recall growing up and mom having been visited by her and little Ray at various times. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. I am sure that she and cousin Ray are glad to be together again in Heaven. GOD Bless and keep you all in perfect peace! ❤️

To the family of Liz Hines, children, grandchildren, sisters and brothers, I am so very sorry about the loss of Liz, this is so heartbreaking to lose two family members within a month of each other, please know family, your mother had a hope, a hope that if she were to fall asleep in death, her hope was that she would live again, without sorrow or pain, such a wonderful hope, I look forward to seeing her again. Deepest sympathies.
