Thanks to everyone for your condolences and prayers. My prayers have been answered that my mother is finally at peace. She fought for 16 years to stay with us.

She loved life and her family. She especially loved being our mom, even through all the tough times and most of all she loved being Nana!

Mom's other passions were music and dancing! I grew up listening to Eddie Arnold, Frank Sinatra and Brenda Lee and watching her dance around the house. She danced through her childhood with her sister, Janet and continued later in life with Ballroom Dancing.

My mom is my inspiration! The days I didn't think I could make it, I thought of my mother and pushed on. She was kind, generous and loving. When I think about my mom and everything she did for us, the word "amazing" comes to mind.

Mom, you're a hard act to follow! I'll keep doing my best to make you proud!
