Hmmmm mama too sad to say good bye! Too hard not to hear your voice! Too difficult knowing that you've completed your journey and have joined our heavenly father! However the memories and wisdom you left with us is positive and that we will cherish forever. I say farewell with a heavy heart. I say farewell to the woman with a good heart. As you have became an angel, may your spirit rest well in the Lord Almighty.
AMEN

Daa Maggi, you are going to be missed!

I can remember when I was small how I would come to your home for wound care. When I lost my own mother, I can recall anytime you would visit the U.S, you would always take the time to reach out to connect with me. I appreciate the motherly advice you would give me when you visited.

Again, your presence will truly be missed!

A mother provides food for her family. She sets about her work vigorously and her arms never grow weak. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her lips. She watches over the affairs of her home and her children arise and call her blessed. Mama indeed you did all these and much more and you stayed on to reap the good works of your hand. We wished you would stay longer but who are we to question God if He says it is time. We bid you farewell and know you are in a better place. Mama laa nkeoma, laa na udo.

To my selfless, kind and caring mother.
A provider of unconditional love and support in my life.
Thank you for being my mother ,my comforter,my treasure and my best friend.
You are the rock behind my life and the best gift to me from God.

It has been the hardest thing to lose you.
You meant so much to me.
You will forever remain in my heart.
Your memories will not fade away.
I never wanted you out of my sight but your creator decides and I cannot question him. I will always remember our memories together, your unconditional love for me was exceptional. You never eats or sleeps without me on your side on daily basis. Our talks and laughter together I truly missed and right now, I feel lonely. "How I wish I can turn back the hand of clock". Mama, I love you so much and will always cherish every moment we spent together till your last day.
Mama, you may have gone but not forgotten. You will forever be in my memory. Stay with me alway and never depart from my dreams!
It's very hard to accept your demise , I know you are sleeping. Sleep very tight and sweet dreams mama till we meet to part no more.
You will forever be in my heart ❤

I always remember these whenever it is time to eat and I don't see you with me.

I will want you to remember we are not apart.
You are with me in my memories and in my broken heart.
One thing I want to ask of you is not to depart in my dreams.

You are forever in my mind.
Sleep tight mama.

Mama Cee ga ije gi nke Oma. You were fondly looked after by your children for over 25 years in abroad. Travelling to Boston USA and Nigeria on holidays frequently. They made sure you changed environment every so often. I am witness to this. We attended several parties with you. I remember one occasion I came to join Cee for us to go to an event. You almost forced me to drink something while waiting. I had said I was OK but you insisted. You reminded me of my own mother of blessed memory. Women of good nature who cares so much for others. Mama Cee you deserve to be celebrated in style. Continue to rest in the bosom of your creator whom you love and worshiped relentlessly. Adieu Mama Cee. Dorothy Adaoha Ezeh

Mama,
You will always be missed.
Thanks for all you thought us both by wards of mouth and your lifestyle as a role model.
You are known for your hard work, God fearing and Good morals.
Nma and myself pounded a lot of freshly cooked green plantain in your kitchen. Cooked, ate and tested so many delicacies.
It took us time to get things right and when we did we got your smile of approval. That skill patience has followed us to our different homes and is paying off well.
You are a strong woman, one in a million.
You left beautiful, hard working men and women and an army of grand and great grand children ❤ . Am proud to be part of your life.
May your Gentle Soul Mama Rest in Peace Mama.
Take heart everyone for our lost.
Familia.

BIOGRAPHY OF EZINNE LOLO MARGARET NWANYIUGBO ODOEMENA-OGUGUA (1930-2021)
Ezinne Lolo Margaret Nwanyiugbo Odoemena-Ogugua was born to the family of Mr. Ihuoma and Mrs Ubadionu Emengaha of Umuchima, Umuawada Onicha Ezinihitte LGA Mbaise, Imo State Nigeria on the 11th day of September, 1930.

She had her primary school education at Holy Rosary School Ogbor Nguru, Mbaise between 1944 and 1950 where she completed and passed her standard six examination in flying colours. She was one of the best among the first set of young girls that went to school in Umuawada Onicha at the time when the condition for training the girl child in school was based on selection of the best amongst the brilliant.

As a young girl, she faced the trauma of losing her dear mother to the cold hands of death through small pox infection in 1949. To make the matter worse, was the fact that she did not have the opportunity to witness where and how she was buried.

In 1951, she was sent to Holy Rosary School Amakohia, Ihitte Afoukwu by Rev. Sister Mary Cullman where she taught for one year before she got married in 1952 with high hopes; only for her hope to be dashed by the sudden death of her husband while she was three months pregnant of her first son, Chukwuma.

However, life smiled at her again, when she later got married to Chief Ambrose Odoemena-Ogugua (Agadagbachiri Uzo 1) of Eziudo Mbaise. The marriage was blessed with seven children who have all excelled in their various fields through her courage, persistence, hard work and endurance.

She relocated to London in 1992 after the death of her husband to live with her first daughter, Mrs. Cecilia Olujie Ibe, whom she stayed with, until January 2021, when she went to be with the lord.

Until her death, she remained faithful and committed to her Catholic faith serving God and humanity and passionately doing her corporal works of mercy by supporting and helping her fellow women, the poor and vulnerable, to rise above their original state in every way she could. She was an ardent giver who never failed to share the little she had with the needy in every capacity.

While in London, she dedicated her life to charity and still stayed connected to her root. She never left her church dues/levies unpaid till death. A commitment which earned her the award of Ezinne title by the Christian Women Organization of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Eziudo, Mbaise in 2011. She was a strong pillar of support to her family, church, friends and people who came across her. She used her Godly endowed golden voice to praise God and led Umunebia Women Dance Group during her time.

Ezinne Lolo Margaret Nwayiugbo Odoemena-Ogugua lived her life to the fullest as God compensated her pains and losts with more joyous years, under the proper care and affection of all her children, who live in London and USA where she travelled to severally. She is survived by children, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

It is hard to say goodnight to a real mother and rare gem indeed. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, relatives and those who knew her.

Ezinne Lolo Margaret! Nneoma puru iche 1, the Golden Voice of Eziudo, Nwanyi obioma, Lady stainless, Mirror in the Sun, the shining star, Rest in the bossom of the Lord your creator, lover, and keeper of your soul, till we meet on the resurrection morning to part no more.

 Adieu! Ezinne Margaret.

Adieu!! Danne Maggie.
