When I Must Leave You

By Helen Steiner Rice

When I must leave you for a little while

Please do not grieve and shed wild tears

And hug your sorrow to you through the years.

But start out bravely with a gallant smile;

And for my sake and in my name

Live on and do all things the same.

Feed not your loneliness on empty days,

But fill each waking hour in useful ways,

Reach out your hand in comfort and cheer

And I in turn will comfort you and hold you near;

And never, never be afraid to die

For I am waiting for you in the sky!

Loretta you were always laughing. And when you got ill you would say no tears I don't want any tears. You were never angry or bitter. Everything was always ok even when you were not. We have many memories and always be in our hearts. Joanie

This was another attempt.  We got her arms down and her face in the picture.  What a good time we had that night!

This was one of our attempts at a group picture at the class reunion.  You can see why we had to try again.  Even though you can't see her face guess who those red arms belong to?

This picture was taken at our 45th class reunion.  Loretta is dancing (or directing the dance) with Donna (Rufo) Marshall, Fran Correia and Betty (Hutchison) Hedly.  Who do you think looks like they were having the best time?  I wish I remembered what was in her hand.
