Thinking about you on this day. You were taken away far too soon.

Happy Birthday Sis,
As it was your birthday today, thought of you even more today than other days. I think so often of our last visit together and how wonderful it was to have shared such a beautiful day together last June with you, Steven, Amy and Nate. It was such a perfect sunny day in the mountains with perfect food, perfect company, just a perfect day overall.  You seemed so happy and so radiant. That is always how I will remember you dear sis. Although we can't share moments like those on a regular basis anymore, at least you have Mom and Dad at your side now. Rest in peace. Love you!

I met Lori in 1986. She was friends with my sister Shelly. Her laid back, very spiritual personality could draw any one to her. She babysat my daughters Brandi and Layci while I was going to college. I have many memories not sure if this is appropriate but I remember when her and Kenny got busted, the police went in and searched their house tearing it apart, thinking they had hard drugs, they even climbed into the trees in their front yard looking on branches. I think the only thing they found was a few paraphanelia.
Lori and Kenny was there the night my first husband proposed to me. Later Lori, Shelly and their friend threw me my unforgettable bridal shower. Male stripper and all.
She was so excited when she found out she was pregnant. I got to watch Lindsey grow from an adorable baby to a beautiful little girl.
I was honored to be able to go to Lake Tahoe to attend Lori and Kenny's wedding. It was a fabulous time. Their family opened their arms and welcomed us. It was a beautiful wedding, then afterwards a bunch of us went to the casino. It was a great weekend.
I see their house here in Lewiston almost every day. It is not far from my house. I think about those days alot.
I was very sad after she moved and I lost contact with her. She will always be in my memories, and in my heart. Now her and Shelly are together watching down over all of us and reminiscing of the good old days.

It was late in our lives when Loree and I met, but I felt an immediate kinship with her. She had the same free-spirited, Rocky-Mountain-high-soaring attitude as I did, and she was a bit of a throwback to the best qualities of the hippie movement, as I was. I enjoyed her company, and we bonded and cackled with joy at the accomplishments of our granddaughter Piper. I looked forward to many more years of our watching Piper grow, but unfortunately, Loree was taken from us too soon. I shall continue to send her mental updates from time to time, and I'm sure she'll send us many smiles.
