Michael and Angela - so sorry to learn of your great loss this morning. Michael, you always spoke so lovingly of your Mum and I wish I could have had the privilege of knowing her… In a way though I do through you, her amazing children. May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of ALL comfort (2 Corinthinans 1:3) be with you and the family at this time. Mum being absent from her physical body is now present in her resurrected body with Jesus.

Angie, I watched the relationship between you and your mother and was moved. There was a deep love, understanding and appreciation of one another. It is an honour to have known her and to share a fraction of that love. I appreciate every word of encouragement she gave me.Such a graceful and gracious woman! So glad to know she is happy and free of pain in the arms of the God she loved and revered so!

She was a wonderful person and a nurturing mother, who added warmth to our lives. Even when she was ill her vibrant laugh was uplifting and encouraging. Only good things await her on the other side. Her generous spirit lives on in her children.

Mrs. Wandera was my second Mom while at Loreto Convent Msongari, NBI. My family lived in Ethiopia in the 70s so it was not always easy for me to go home during half terms and exiasts. She and Mr. Wandera welcomed me into their home like a daughter. I learned so much about Kenyan life outside of the Convent from them, learned to appreciate their national cuisines and their culture and absolutely enjoyed being with all the Wandera family - Caroline, I'd like to thank you profusely for allowing me that experience also. You are all indeed my family from another mother and father and I will always relish in the fact that you all look at me that way. May God uphold you all during this time of darkness, but remember, your Mom is not gone, she's just away waiting for the day that you will all be reunited. May she RIEP and may God embrace her in His loving arms until then. I love you all!
