Happy 88th Birthday Aunt Raine. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you. I miss you so much. The holidays just aren't going to be the same without you. Tell Uncle Bud I say Hi. Love and miss you both.

The moment that you left me, my heart split in two.
One side filled with memories, the other side died with you.
I often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep, and take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheek.
Remembering you is easy, I do it every day; but missing you is a heartache that never goes away.
I hold you tightly within my heart and there you will remain.
You see, life has gone on without you, but will never be the same.

Born in 1931, Aunt Lorraine grew up in Verga.  She graduated from Paulsboro High School in 1949.  On September 30, 1950, she married the love of her life, George (Bud) Gogstad.  They lived in the home they built in Deptford for many, many years.  After retirement, they moved to Maplewood Retirement Village in Mantua.

I'll always remember Thanksgivings as a child.  Our whole family gathered at Aunt Raine and Uncle Bud's.  She really knew her way around the kitchen.  She was a great cook!
