Ms. Lottie B. Knox, age 86, affectionately known to family members as Babygirl. Born in Paulette, Mississippi to the late Carrie Knox on February 12, 1934. Transitioned to her eternal home September 1, 2020 at Capital Health Shiloh Springs Care Center.

She attended public school and was a proud graduate of North Central High School. After relocating to Dayton, Ohio she began employment at Neil’s Heritage House and remained there for over 50 years. Upon retirement, she began volunteering at The Good Neighbor House until her health failed. Lottie’s passion was walking, gardening and caring for ailing family members. She’s been a blessing and a strong phenomenal Woman to many. Lottie‘s life has been a walking testament of what hard work and determination will bring......Respect, Responsibility, Courage, Strength, Wealth, Independence, Knowledge, last but not lease Beauty, inside and out......

Lottie was preceded in death by her mother Carrie Knox, (3) sisters, Francies Little, Arie Bell Ivy and Jenny Mae Knox, (3) brothers, Willie (Ruby) Knox, Henry Knox and Robert Knox, (2) brother-in-laws, William Rice and Albert Henderson.

She leaves to cherish precious memories, (2) sisters Ollie Henderson, Chicago, Illinois and Mary Lou Rice, Macon Mississippi, (1) brother, Arthur Ivy, Scooba, Mississippi. Several Nieces and Nephews and a host of family and friends.

Walk-through visitation will be held 11am-12pm, Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at W.E. Lusain Funeral Home & Crematory 2060 Germantown Street 45417. Private Service....Interment: Shiloh Park Cemetery. Mask are required for entry.
