Lofton, you hold a special place in my Heart. You were full of “Life, Love & Laughter”.We were all put here by God for a purpose; I believe that part of yours was to make sure everyone you met had a smile on their face. I remember the jokes and laughs. Now you’ve moved on to be in heaven. I’m blessed to have known you & I will cherish the memories. Goodbye for now my beloved friend.

“Lofton”:-
A kind and well-respected brother.
A family-oriented brother.
A brother who kept the family ties closely-knit.
A brother with a tease and a great sense of humour.
A handsome brother with an engaging smile.
A brother who never forgot and always called on a sibling’s birthday.
A brother who will be greatly missed.
A brother who God loved more than we did and so took him home.

Describing 'Lofton' as a friend leaves me at loss for adaquate words. As a colleague, he was a hard worker, thorough individual and indeed a true leader. In our personal relationship we always had a special connect. What will always be foremost was his extremely witty intellect and good humour. He will always be missed. May God comfort his family in their grief and loss at this time.

Dear Lofton - we shared many fond memories together when we were teenagers in St.Kitts. We lost contact over the years and reconnected in 1998. Your sense of humour was priceless. We laughed a lot when we spoke. I was very happy that I was able to speak with you in January. You were in a lot of pain. However, you are now in a better place and out of all pain and suffering. Rest In Peace,

I have had the opportunity to work with Loughton when he was the successful manager of Esso in Guyane. Fiercely independent
and strong minded he ran the business the only way he knew, Loughton's way, and did achieve remarkable results under very difficult circumstances. He will be remembered and missed by all his work associates & golf partners

Lofton, I always loved your strength, courage, determination, and irrepressible humour. You made me feel that everything is possible.
You showed me that success is attainable. You accepted all challenges with a smile. You cherished family and our family traditions. Thanksgiving and Christmas will never be the same without you. I will love you forever.

Laughton Taylor was a citizen of St. Kitts-Nevis, the Caribbean, the World. His cricket, tennis and, later, golf were superior. "Dawns" inspired many to better our aspirations since he became Esso Manager, SKN. Many were our spirited conversations in St. Lucia, Guyana, Barbados and Florida. Lofton: For more than 50 years we shared a bond of friendship that neither distance nor our changing fortunes could break. Neither will your passing. There are some bonds that are meant to last forever, and our friendship is one of them. You leave me memories of the times we shared and the life you lived to last the rest of my life. Be Blessed.

Uncle Loughton, unfortunately you left this earth too soon, but I am sure that you are in a better place now. I never got the chance to really get to know you, but my dad talked to me about you. I was able to meet you once at Brenda's wedding, and I could tell that you were a good person at heart. Rest in peace uncle Loughton, you will be missed!

My husband, Winston and I will miss those weekly telephone calls from Loughton when being the true friend he was, he would keep in touch when Winston was on his annual trip from Guyana to the US. He loved to tease by asking to speak to "Gars" when I answered the phone and I knew that smile was on his face. Maybe he's gone too soon but absolutely in a better place. Rest in peace my brother

Uncle Loughton, I will forever remember my countless trips to NYC and how welcomed and comfortable both you and Aunt J made myself and anyone I brought with me feel. You smile, sense of humor, dedication to family and company will be sorely missed. Your passing has truly left a large void in our family. I will miss you dearly.

"Lofton as i reflect on your 3 scores and 10 years on this earth. What stands out the most is your dedication to your siblings, family, friendship, FairPlay, and the ability to smile under any circumstance. Your Spirit will live on in those who knew you. In recalling one of our great debates on destiny, I payed to the Lord to hold your hand and show you the way. Fair winds my friend!

I have been a friend of Lofton for over 50 years. He was my doubles tennis partner on our home island of St.Kitts. We won our tennis club doubles championship in 1971, and was invited to play at the exclusive St.Kitts Lawn Tennis Club on Victoria Road because of our high standard of play. I would remember Lofton as friend who would devote his time and his abilities to any of his friends.

May tender memories soften your grief,
May fond recollection bring you relief,
And may you find comfort and peace in the thought
Of the joy that knowing your loved one brought...
For time and space can never divide
Or keep your loved one from your side.
When memory paints in colors true,
the happy hours that belonged to you.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr.Taylor but I got to know his son and my fraternity brother Marc. Judging by the way Marc is as a person I can tell that Mr. Taylor gave his son the qualities that only a parent could be proud of and a son could appreciate.

Lofton, I write these few words with moist eyes. You always will be a dear friend. The good times we had in Guyana and recently in Orlando always will be remembered. You are somewhere in the vast outerspace with your signature smile. You share birthday with my father and that always will be remembered. Christ said, Before Abraham was, I am!

Grandad, you will be forever missed. I learned how to play golf and was fairly good at it thanks to our weekly trips to the golf course! I am thankful that you took the time out to spend with your grandchildren and all the places you took us to experience as well. I wish I was able to spend more time with you when you were sick but I know you are in a better place now. Love you!

Although I had few encounters with Mr. Taylor he always made it seem as though we were old friends. On one of those few meetings he paid for a dinner party of 10. When I offered to pay for my portion or at least the tip, in true LoughtonTaylor fashion he said " I don't do dutch dates"
Mr. Taylor may you rest in peace.

Thank you for giving me your best qualities. Hard work, determination, and value of friendships. I have generated some great friendships based on your advice to me when I was 13: "you are judged by the company you keep." My place on this earth seems half disconnected with your passing. I miss you.

I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
I think of you in silence...I often speak your name.
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is a keepsake with which I'll never part.
God has you in his keeping...I have you in my heart

Happy birthday to my dad with his favorite flowers. Not a day goes by that he is not thought of. September 3, was for 70 years, a brighter day because of the way he celebrated his life. We should all continue to do the same and celebrate each day of life we are afforded. I hope for comfort for my mom, my brother, my dad's brothers, sisters, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and last but absolutely not least, his friends whom he cared so deeply about, and colleagues he cherished.  As the website so aptly states, he will be forever missed.
