Seeing signs of your sweet spirit in so many things around me this past week. I read your bible for Easter to Tim last night. We both love hearing the word of God, thanks to you. I love seeing the highlights placed in your bible by your hands. I can only pray that I will one day be blessed to see you again Daddy. What an honor that would be. I wanted to be the first one today to wish you Happy Birthday Daddy. I pray that everyone in Heaven has a big party for you. How I wish I could hug you for your birthday tomorrow. I got you a birthday cake and had them put blue flowers on it for you. I hope you know you are so truly missed by so many people. I'm so blessed that God has allowed you to keep your promise to me and stay in touch with me. You always kept your promises and never let me down. Missing you today. I've been spending a lot of time passing on your stories to everyone from the mail man to all my friends and co-workers. I think everyone by now knows you. I hope you can see how much your family loves you! We are all keeping Maw-Maw very busy and spoiling her with love and laughter.

Paw-paw, today I rode through Goochland thinking about you and how much I miss you already in such a short time. I thought of driving to your house and knocking on the back door, only to hear in my memory you say " i hear ya knocking but ya can't come in" .. i can't seem to get you off my mind. Your everywhere i turn. But I have kept a promise for you, which I know you already saw from heaven. Maw-Maw is still dancing. I made sure once everyone went back inside that night, I grabbed her hands as we both cried and we danced under the stars on your back porch. I know you were with us. I promised I would keep her young and that I shall do. I love you Paw-Paw!
