Louise M. Ennis, 73, of Brimfield, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Unity Point Health Methodist in Peoria.

     Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Clary Funeral Home, 3004 West Lake Avenue in Peoria. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.

     Louise was born on January 21, 1945, in Peoria, a daughter of Elmer and Lois (May) Vaughn. She married Harold “Junior” Ennis on April 19, 1963 in Knoxville. He preceded her in death on December 7, 2012 in Peoria. She was also preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Thomas Ennis; siblings, Elmer Vaughn, Walter Vaughn and Eleanor Bennett; and half-siblings, Woodrow Vaughn, Eileen Collan, Helen Hafele and Imagene Terry.

     She is survived by her sons, Michael (Melissa) Ennis of Peoria and James Ennis of Brimfield; brother, Walter (Vicky) Vaughn of Peoria; granddaughters, Jessica (Josh) Funke and Briana Gill; and great grandchildren, Roxanne and Vivian Funke.

     Louise retired after fifteen years as an assembler at LR Nelson in Peoria. She was also a licensed beautician and did hair for her family and friends.

     Memorial contributions may be made in Louise’s memory to American Heart Association.
