God called our precious angel-Mrs. Louvenia Tenney Weathers-home on her birthday, March 10, 2013 at the age of 97.

She was born and raised in Coweta County, Georgia, but moved to High Point, NC in 1977. She was a daughter of the late Berry Hairston and Luegenia Tenney.

She was united in marriage to Eddie Lee Weathers, who preceded her in death.   In addition her husband and parents, she was also preceded  in death by one daughter, Mrs. Martha Lee Strickland; two sons, Mr. Eddie L. Weathers and Mr. Willie C. Weathers.

She spent most of her life as a homemaker and a devoted mother.  She was a faithful member of The Redeemed Church of Christ. She was very well taken care of by her baby daughter/caregiver Phyllis Anne Henderson, with whom she resided. Also, very special "thank you" is extended to Mr. Dennis R. Pollard for being there for her throughout everything, and to her daughter, Mrs. Eula Kate Johnson for being there for her.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, ten daughters, Ms. Phyllis Ann Henderson (Dennis Pollard) of High Point, NC, Mrs. Eula Kate Johnson (Ronnie) of Grantville, GA, Mrs. Ollie Hines of High Point, NC, Mrs. Maggie Strickland of Senoia, GA; Mrs. Catherine Wade of Statesville, GA, Mrs. Christine Jones (J.C.) of High Point, NC, Mrs. Susie Ward ofNewnan, GA, Mrs. Evelyn Baker (James) of High Point, NC, Mrs. Nellie Barnes of Baltimore, MD, Bertha Ballard (John) of Newnan, GA; one son, Mr. OliverW. Weathers of High Point, NC; fifty grandchildren; sixty great-grandchildren; forty great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
